Pool rules

• Cutoffs, denim, thongs, see-through swimsuits, street clothes, or anything that does not let a person appear appropriate according to the University's Mission will not be allowed.
• ID is required to enter, UIW ID is preferred, we will accept driver's licenses and passports.
• Children under the age of 6 are not eligible for UIW Wellness Center and Natatorium memberships.
• Minors ages 6 to 12 must be directly supervised by a parent/legal guardian in all areas of the UIW Richard and Janet Cervera Wellness Center and/or Ann Barshop Natatorium.
• Minors ages 13 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian while in the Wellness Center and/or Natatorium.
• Individual Memberships are reserved for applicants 16 years of age or older.
• “Day Passes” or “Guest Passes” are not allowed.

Good to know

• Fall 2026 open swim hours start Sunday, August 24, 2026.
• Pool closes 10 minutes before closing, all swimmers must exit the water by that time, building closes at closing time.
• Facility closures page for the Natatorium could not be retrieved (404); check for holiday closures.
• The Wellness Center 2026 closures list includes Labor Day, Light the Way, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's; it is not confirmed whether these apply to the Natatorium.
• Membership is required; day passes and guest passes are not allowed.
