Pool rules
- No glass, sharp objects, or hazardous materials.
- No inflatable objects, swim fins or snorkels are allowed.
- No animals other than service animals allowed.
- Shower and rinse thoroughly before entering the pool.
- No food or drink allowed within 5 feet of the pool.
- Children who have not been toilet trained are required to wear “swim diapers” and “plastic swim pants”. Regular diapers are prohibited.
- No Diving.
- Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- Bathing attire must be worn on the pool deck. Swimmers must wear bathing suits that do not expose private areas of the individual’s anatomy. Clothing such as cut--offs, gym shorts, and underwear are not permitted as swimwear.
- Loitering is not permitted in Pool Shower/Locker areas at any time. Pool showers/lockers are only for Greystone pool and swimming guests. Showers are not to be used for the sole purpose of personal hygiene and bathing.
- Swimming is prohibited when lifeguard is not on duty.
- No alcohol or amplified music without a permit.
- No smoking.
- No running or rough play allowed.
- No spitting, spouting or blowing nose in pool.
- No photography, filming or interviewing is allowed inside of pool without proper permits.
- During open pool hours, parties are not permitted on the pool deck. Cakes and decorations are not permitted. Snacks and small food and drink items are welcome. For information regarding throwing a party at the pool please visit www.piedmontpark.org.
- The managers and staff are responsible for the strict enforcement of all rules and policies. Failure to comply could result in ejection from the facility.
- No intimate contact allowed in the pool.
- Damage to property will not be permitted and violators will be held responsible.
- Swimming will be delayed for a minimum of 30 minutes in case of thunder or lightning.

- Legacy Fountain Splash Pad (free to the public, more than 70 jets reaching up to 30 feet in the air, nearby restrooms, tables and chairs)

- The pool season is from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
- The pool will be open to the general public from Sunday, May 24 – Monday, September 7.
- The pool will be open to pool pass holders from Saturday, May 23 – Monday, September 7.
- General admission hours listed are for the period Sunday May 24 – Sunday August 2; from Monday August 3 – Sunday September 6, Monday–Friday hours are 3 PM – 4:45 PM (Free Swim) and Saturday & Sunday 12 PM – 4:45 PM; on Labor Day (Monday, September 7) hours are 10 AM – 4:45 PM.
- Pool Pass Holder Hours: Saturday, May 23 – Sunday, August 2: Monday-Thursday 10 AM – 8 PM, Friday 10 AM – 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 7 PM, Sunday 9 AM – 8 PM; Monday, August 3 – September 6: Monday-Thursday 3 PM – 8 PM, Friday 3 PM – 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 7 PM, Sunday 9 AM – 8 PM; Monday, September 7: Labor Day 10 AM – 8 PM.
- Sales are cash-less. Only cards or digital wallets are accepted.
- No refunds are extended for inclement weather.
- The Aquatic Center adheres to the City of Atlanta pool calendar.
- For safety, all swimmers must exit the pool when thunder is heard or lightning is seen and must remain out of the pool for 30 minutes after the last occurrence.
- The pool is operated by the Piedmont Park Conservancy through a partnership with the City of Atlanta.
- The Aquatic Center is a renovation of a swimming pool built in 1973.
- The bathhouse is a 9,000 square foot LEED certified event space called Greystone.
- The Legacy Fountain Splash Pad is open all year round, pending severely cold weather or storms.
- The Legacy Fountain was closed to the public Friday, 9/4-Sunday 9/6 due to a private event (per alerts page updated October 6, 2026).
